The Aims of the Festival

This Festival is a new proposal for different holidays and real tourism designed to support  the citizens at the grass roots level who are CREATING the future sostenible society: here you have the opportunity to vote for it, enjoying yourself and relaxing with us this summer.

It´s a network based festival which unites many and varied projects, organic farms, craftspeople and all types of people working towards a more just, balanced and healthy world with shared common interests, and from any part of the world, who want to join us.

The aims and propositions of the festival are to come together to explore and activate:

Our Creativity

Maybe the most unsustainable thing in our society is that we´re trained to be 'consumers', and many resources are invested in making us consume as much as possible, and also in defending our 'rights as consumers', as if this was a perquisite of being a human being. 

Of course we have to consume to live, but our identity is much more; we are essentially CREATORS, much more than 'Consumers'. 

When our creativity deteriorates through lack of use, this makes us more and more vulnerable to consume even more (we even 'consume' the creativity of others, instead of trying out our own).

But ALL OF US have the gift of creativity and all we have to do is wake it up, give it time, care and a lot of experimentation. 

We know that if we are going to build a more sustainable society, we are going to have to a exercise, all of us, much imagination and creativity... and for this reason we have co-created a big field for playing and experimentation for adults as well as children.

The change towards a new Sustainable Culture 

Sustainability is widely talked about these days, but few people have a clear idea of what it means.

At the same time there are many people and collectives that are CURRENTLY carrying out projects that are creating the necessary ingredients for any sustainable bioregion: the production of local and organic food, the production of craft products and services, education about sustainabilty... all important aspects of developing the abilities and creativity of the social capital of a zone towards a better world. 

At the same time we can directly support these people and projects, and give others the opportunity to have a direct experience of how it is to live in a more ecological and sustainable way: this is the central intention behind this Festival.
